Cass Information Systems is closely monitoring the status of the COVID-19 situation, checking throughout each day for updated statistics, recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), decisions from our national, regional, and local governments, and courses of action being taken by our fellow financial institutions. We want to assure you that Cass remains a financially strong service provider with the resources necessary to weather this storm and support all of our valued customers. We remain committed to creating a safe and healthy environment for our employees, while continuing to deliver the best-in-class services that our customers require in these challenging times.
To that end, and in agreement with our federally mandated Pandemic Plan and our Business Continuity Plan, Cass has enacted its remote workforce program. Most of our employees around the globe are now, or will shortly be, working and conducting business remotely. Only the employees necessary to oversee certain business coordination activities or conduct necessary physical activities such as mail handling and scanning operations remain in our offices. In the past several years, we’ve invested in several technology initiatives enabling our employees to operate remotely with full system(s) access along with transparent voice and electronic unified communications capabilities, ensuring seamless service delivery to our clients. In addition, we have placed business travel restrictions on all Cass teams and implemented a no visitor policy in each our offices.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding our COVID-19 response or the impact to any services you receive from Cass today, please reach out to your normal Cass contacts. We thank you for your continued business and we pledge our continued and uninterrupted commitment to support you, your teams and your business in the days and weeks ahead of us. We will continue to update this space as new developments occur.
