Cass Patented BYOD Payment Solution Expands Globally

9 February 2016

St. Louis, February 9, 2016 – To enable the growing demand for global BYOD programs, Cass Information Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CASS), a leading provider of telecom expense management (TEM), managed mobility services (MMS) and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solutions, now offers its patented Direct2Carrier Payments™ solution to countries throughout Europe.

Until now, enterprises in the EU that wanted to provide stipends, reimbursements or allowances to their employees in consideration for asking their employees to use their personal mobile devices for work, were limited to time-consuming and costly expense reports and/or payroll stipends, creating significant extra overhead cost, confidentiality concerns and employee frustration.

The Cass solution eliminates those issues and greatly improves the BYOD experience by allowing employers to directly credit their employees’ personal wireless bills with the appropriate BYOD reimbursement amount, regardless of device type or carrier. Once the Direct2Carrier payment is issued, the employee sees the credit on her personal wireless bill and simply pays any remaining balance.

The countries in which the enterprise can now take advantage of this solution include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

“The trend towards BYOD is consistent and growing, both in North America and Europe,” said Raúl Castañón-Martínez of 451 Research. “As this trend continues to grow, it will become increasingly relevant for vendors to provide global support to large multi-national enterprises with a true global BYOD management solution. This is fast becoming a vital component to a successful global BYOD program.”

“Cass continues to embrace our global customers by offering time-saving and cost-effective solutions in more places throughout the world,” said Gary Langfitt, president of the Expense Management Division of Cass Information Systems. “As BYOD is becoming a larger component of mobile strategies across the enterprise, we anticipate our unique and proven payment process will play a key role in the success of implementations and programs throughout much of Europe,” he added.
