Cass Information Systems Honored by AT&T with 2013 Supplier Sustainability Award

26 February 2014

St. Louis, February 26, 2014 – A commitment to minimizing its environmental impact has earned St. Louis-based Cass Information Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CASS) recognition as a 2013 AT&T Supplier Sustainability Award winner. The award recognizes suppliers for their support of affiliates of AT&T*, one of the world’s leading data, voice, wireless and Internet service providers.

“The suppliers honored with the AT&T Supplier Sustainability Award help make AT&T’s sustainability programs possible with their innovative technologies and expertise,” said Tim Harden, president of AT&T Supply Chain and Fleet Operations. “We’re very pleased to recognize their contributions to sustainability at AT&T and around the country.”

Cass Information Systems was one of only six suppliers to receive the 2013 AT&T Sustainability Supplier Award for outstanding contributions that supported AT&T’s supplier sustainability efforts during the past year.

“AT&T is extremely adept at using the energy data we provide to drive measurable, impactful energy efficiency initiatives,” stated Gary Langfitt, president, Cass Expense Management Services. Last year, Cass processed more than 3.5 million invoices from AT&T suppliers for electricity, natural gas, water, sewer, solid waste, shredding, recycling and fuel supply. Cass receives, processes and pays every invoice while extracting and delivering valuable consumption data that can then be used for analysis. “We are very proud of our 15-year relationship with AT&T,” Langfitt said. “They are truly at the forefront of turning energy data into shareholder value and societal good,” he added.

*AT&T products and services are provided or offered by subsidiaries and affiliates of AT&T Inc. under the AT&T brand and not by AT&T Inc.
